Steward's Report

Seven Two and Honouring Percy were slow to begin. Zelemar Zest and Lance Lomar collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Seven Two checked off Zelemar Zest approaching the first turn. Zipping Quinsee and Zelemar Zest collided approaching the first turn. Lance Lomar, Zipping Quinsee and Zelemar Zest collided approaching the first turn checking Zelemar Zest. Zipping Quinsee checked off Lance Lomar on the first turn checking Seven Two and Zelemar Zest. Lance Lomar and Limburg Dan collided on the first turn and again on the second turn. Seven Two checked off Zipping Quinsee on the second turn. Lance Lomar and Limburg Dan collided on the third turn checking Lance Lomar, Limburg Dan and severely checking Honouring Percy which fell. Seven Two checked off Zipping Quinsee in the home straight.

Honouring Percy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right calf muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
