Steward's Report
Zorn Bale and Lektra Stroll were slow to begin. Umar Allen and Corinth Bale collided soon after the start. Lektra Stroll checked off Outlaw Bruce approaching the home turn. Dyna Nina galloped on the heels of Inga Red approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds and causing Dyna Nina to stumble. Zorn Bale and Lektra Stroll collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds. Corinth Bale checked off Umar Allen on the home turn. Outlaw Bruce and Dyna Nina collided entering the home straight. Inga Red and Umar Allen collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post checking both greyhounds.
Inga Red was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a cervico-thoracic injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
After viewing the head on footage and hearing submissions from Mr V. Inguanti trainer of Inga Red, Stewards issued a warning to Mr Inguanti regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.
