Lass Bale was quick to begin. Starvin' Seagull and Sir Bekim collided soon after the start. Blue Giant checked off Arrow Allen soon after the start. Starvin' Seagull checked off Sir Bekim on the first turn. Arrow Allen, Lass Bale and Sir Bekim collided approaching the second turn. Blue Giant and Valoshore collided on the second turn. Arrow Allen, Lass Bale and Crackerjack Burn collided entering the back straight severely checking Lass Bale and Sir Bekim. Valoshore, Quizzical and Sir Bekim collided in the back straight checking Sir Bekim and Quizzical. Lass Bale checked off Quizzical approaching the third turn.
