Steward's Report
Tyronimo and Lektra Radiant were slow to begin. Spud Regis and Phenomenal collided soon after the start. Slater Hill and Elusive Sage collided on the first turn. Lektra Radiant contacted the running rail on the first turn. Elusive Sage and Tyronimo collided approaching the second turn. Slater Hill and Tyronimo collided on the third turn. Phenomenal and Purcell Bale collided on the third turn. Elusive Sage veered out and marred the running of Purcell Bale approaching the home turn and again on the home turn. Slater Hill and Tyronimo collided entering the home straight. Elusive Sage and Lektra Radiant collided in the home straight. Top Innings and Phenomenal collided in the home straight.
Lektra Radiant was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Elusive Sage was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the left metacarpal, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr J. Delaroche, Trainer of Elusive Sage. Acting under GAR 69(1)(a), Stewards charged Elusive Sage with marring and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at Sandown Park and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial, All Tracks, pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
