A pre-race sample was taken from Okay Penny upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Caco Nut and Zulu Success were quick to begin.
Okay Penny, Exford Lumpy and Cavalry Rose collided approaching the first turn checking Exford Lumpy. Okay Penny checked off Cavalry Rose on the first turn and collided with Jackson's Girl and Mutant resulting in Jackson's Girl and Mutant being checked and Okay Penny being severely checked. Okay Penny and Jackson's Girl raced wide in the home straight.
Okay Penny was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
