Silverdust was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left groin injury. A stand down period of 14 days was imposed.

Kirk Bale and Irish Asteria collided on the first turn checking Irish Asteria. Jackie Baxter and Sparkeen were quick to begin. Miss Rossi was slow to begin. Miss Rossi and Sheoak Blue Boy collided soon after the start. Miss Rossi and Silvertop collided approaching the first turn. Sheoak Blue Boy contacted the running on the first turn. Crackerjack Dak and Sparkeen collided on the home turn. Sparkeen and Miss Rossi collided entering the home straight.

Sheoak Blueboy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the tail and to the left monkey muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Andelven and Abscond were slow to begin. Allen Lottery checked off Daliya Bale on the first turn. Hession Boots and Abscond collided on the first turn checking Abscond. Daliya Bale checked off Steel The Best. Chief Tommy lost ground in the home straight.

Dewana Babe checked off Midwinter approaching the first turn. Esparza checked off Midwinter approaching the second turn and collided with Dewana Babe, severely checking Esparza and Dewana Babe. Midwinter and Seeking Justice collided on the home turn. Bells Are Ringing checked off Midwinter on the home turn and raced wide as a result. Esparza and Midwinter collided in the home straight. Polijuice Potion and Bells Are Ringing collided in the home straight checking Polijuice Potion.

Bakali, Zipping Sally and Nallak were quick to begin. Our Blake and Hanga collided soon after the start. Nallak crossed to the inside soon after the start checking Master Kooper and Sketchy Nick. Hanga checked off Kiranna approaching the first turn. Zipping Sally checked off Nallak approaching the first turn. Our Blake and Kiranna collided on the first turn checking Kiranna, Sketchy Nick and Master LKooper and Sketchy Nick and Master Kooper raced wide as a result. Kiranna, Sketchy Nick and Master Kooper collided entering the home straight.

Hanga was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left monkey nuscle injury, a left deltoid injury and a left pencil muscle injury. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed. 

Our Blake was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Cette Away and Hawka Tron were quick to begin. Charlie Pearce, Zelemar Zone and Lister Bale collided on the first turn checking Charlie Pearce and Lister Bale. Spanky's Legacy checked off Greysynd Chief on the first turn. Zelemar Zone checked off Greysynd Chief approaching the second turn. Charlie Pearce checked off Bronco De Jurer on the second turn. Zelemar Zone and Bronco De Jurer collided on the home turn checking Zelemar Zone. Greysynd Chief checked off Cette Away in the home straight.

A sample was unable to be obtained from Cette Away.  A post race blood sample was subsequently taken.

Noaki Lynx was quick to begin. Locked Out and Lektra Blicavs collided approaching the first turn. Terrorizer, Moto Warrior and Miss Mayflower collided on the first turn severely checking Miss Mayflower and Locked Out. Moto Warrior checked off Lektra Blicavs in the home straight.

Locked Out was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right monkey muscle injury. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

Miss Mayflower was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left triangle injury. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

Le Sands was quick to begin. Allen Impose  and Pomp Fiction collided soon after the start checking Pomp Fiction. Le Sands, Noonbarra Joe and Batty Allen collided approaching the home turn. Blue Blitz and Batty Allen collided approaching the home turn checking Blue Blitz. Ima Lonely Boy checked off Allen Impose approaching the home turn checking Pomp Fiction. Parisian Magic and Noonbarra Joe collided several times in the home straight.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Black Oak trialled over the 425m  from box 2, weight 29.5k, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 24:46 the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 1.5L. Black Oak was Cleared. Black Oak also trialled to remove the blinkers. 

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. Theodorakopoulos, the trainer of Mr. Late regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Mr. Late last raced on 16/09/15. Mr. Theodorakopoulos stated that returning to race after a fractured right shoulder. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Mr. Late trialled over the 425m from box 4, weight 31.6k, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was24:46, the greyhound won by a margin of 1.5L. Mr. Late was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Divers, the trainer of Too Seductive regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Too Seductive last raced on 17/06/15. Mr. Divers stated that greyhound was returning to race after being in season twice. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Too Seductive trialled over the 500m from box 1, weight 27.3k, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was28:26, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 6L. Too Seductive was Cleared.
