Steward's Report
A pre race sample was taken from Galmist.
The race start was delayed by approximately 2 minutes due to the boxes failing to open. All greyhounds were vetted and passed fit to run. The race was hand started.
Galmist was slow to beign.
Lektra Destiny and Alpha David collided soon after the start. Lagoon Mist and Allen Santo collided approaching the first turn. Lektra Destiny, Azurite, Lagoon Mist and Allen Santo collided approaching the first turn checking Azurite, Lagoon Mist and Allen Santo. Galmist raced wide on the first turn. Azurite and Lagoon Mist collided approaching the second turn. Azurite checked off Lagoon Mist entering the back straight. Lagoon Mist checked off Allen Santo approaching the home turn and collided with Azurite resulting in Azurite and Lagoon Mist being checked.
Azurite was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.
