Inventor and Don Fire were slow to begin.
Inventor checked off She's Vivacious approaching the first turn. Just A Taste and Inventor collided on the first turn. She's Vivacious checked off Seabrook Joel approaching the home turn. Spanky's Legacy and Don Fire raced wide in the home straight.
Don Fire which trailed the field throughout the event was vetted. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.
Seabrook Joel was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left hind. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
