Windmills, Fancy Talon, Storm Of All and Bundy Princess collided soon after the start checking Fancy Talon and Bundy Princess. Khimki and Galo's Best collided approaching the first turn. Oddball Quick and Galo's Best collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Hillbilly Spunk faltered on the first turn. Fancy Talon and Oddball Quick collided approaching the home turn. Hillbilly Spunk and Bundy Princess collided on the home turn. Galo's Best checked off Storm Of All in the home straight.
Hillbilly Spunk was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right back muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
