Swing Arm and Julie Flash were slow to begin.  Oemi Allen went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.  Right Said Frank and Zipping Maro collided approaching the first turn. Discovered, Scott Fortitude and Senorita Pepe collided on the first turn, checking Senorita Pepe, Scott Fortitude and Julie Flash.  Senorita Pepe checked off Julie Flash approaching the home turn.  Oemi Allen and Senorita Pepe collided approaching the home turn, checking Senorita Pepe.  Right Said Frank raced wide on the home turn.

Princess Briana, Barry Bomber, It's All Over and In A Pickle collided approaching the first turn, checking Princess Briana.  Brae's Bullet and Nolen's Fortune collided approaching the first turn. Barry Bomber checked off It's All Over on the first turn.  It's All Over checked off In A Pickle on the first turn.  In A Pickle clipped the heels of Nolen's Fortune approaching the home turn. Serendipitous and Warrion Warrior collided on the home turn.  Princess Briana and It's All Over collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards noted that the muzzle on Serendipitous became partially dislodged during the running of this race.

A pre race sample was unable to be obtained from Prince Cheviot.  A post race sample was subsequently taken.

Relethor Bale was slow to begin.  Oimby Allen and Allen Kelvin collided soon after the start, checking Allen Kelvin.  Oimby Allen checked off Bonna Bale approaching the first turn.  Prince Cheviot, Oimby Allen, Allen Kelvin and Bonna Bale collided approaching the first turn, checking Oimby Allen, Relethor Bale and Dyna Earp.  Oimby Allen, Allen Kelvin and Bonna Bale collided on the first turn, severely checking Oimby Allen which fell as a result.  Allen Kelvin checked off Bonna Bale approaching the home turn.

Oimby Allen was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right quadricep and abrasions to the right metacarpal, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Zipping Hawk was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right monkey muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

The boxes failed to open.  All greyhounds were removed, vetted and cleared fit to race.  The event was hand timed.

Flash Intention was slow to begin.  Bryden Curly crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Denarau.  Nat's Intention checked off Denarau approaching the first turn.  Destini Fortress and Atomiser collided in the back straight.  Atomiser checked off Pocket Queen on the third turn.  Denarau checked off Bryden Curly on the third turn.  My Girl Belena checked off Bryden Curly approaching the home turn.  Nat's Intention checked off Pocket Queen approaching the home.  Nat's Intention and Pocket Queen collided several times in the home straight.

Nat's Intention was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left monkey muscle, left back muscle, left hamstring, left biceps and left pencil muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Unbackable was slow to begin.  Vista Bandit checked off Bushman's Gold approaching the first turn, checking Alchemy.  Crimson Sally and Bushman's Gold collided on the first turn.  Kachina Allen crossed to the rail approaching the home turn, checking Bushman's Gold and Crimson Sally.  Vista Bandit and Bushman's Gold collided approaching the home turn.  Saywah Tonayo and Long Gully Gus collided on the home turn.

Allen Jeer was slow to begin.  Molly Chapta and Rockstar Max collided soon after the start.  Louie Lasagna and Take That Banksy collided soon after the start, checking Take That Banksy. Molly Chapta and Allen Jeer collided approaching the first turn, checking Molly Chapta.  Allen Jeer galloped on the heels of Soda Street on the first turn, checking Soda Street, Lyka Allen and Take That Banksy and severely checking Allen Jeer, causing Take That Banksy to fall.  One Required checked off Louie Lasagna on the home turn.

Take That Banksy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right wrist and spike wounds to the right metatarsal, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Altesse was slow to begin.  Senni William, Senni Richard and Kibosh collided soon after the start, checking Senni Richard.  Altesse and Maximum Maddy collided approaching the first turn, checking Maximum Maddy.  Senni William and Bushman's Poem collided on the first turn, checking Senni William.  Senni Richard galloped on the heels of Senni William on the first turn.  Altesse raced wide on the home turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr. C. Smith regarding the direction that the greyhound Pacific Angel be boxed first. Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.

An image was not captured for this event due to camera failure.  The back up system was used to determine placings and margins.

Mr. G. Dailly, handler of Mako declared a new weight of 36.7kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Mako last raced at 35.3kg
