Stewards spoke to Mr R Cunneen, the trainer of Henry Lee regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Henry Lee last raced 11 October, 2015. Mr Cunneen stated the greyhound is a new addition to his kennel and since arriving he has been unable to obtain a start with the greyhound.

Silver Wood was quick to begin.  Mohawk Mako was slow to begin.

Runaway Ellie and Henry Lee collided soon after the start checking Henry Lee.  Bourbon An Kahn checked off Jack Walker approaching the first turn.  Vienna Black crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Bourbon An Kahn, Henry Lee and severely checking Silver Wood and Creative Hit.  Creative Hit and Mohawk Mako collided approaching the home turn checking Mohawk Mako.  Creative Hit raced wide in the home straight.

Mohawk Mako was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Nocturnal was very slow to begin (3 lenghts).

Tycore Lad and Aye Pee McCoy collided soon after the start.  Aye Pee McCoy, Saturday Sip and Barroom Promise collided approaching the first turn.  Excel Like Moses and Zipping Laura collided approaching the first turn.  Saturday Sip and Barroom Promise collided on the first turn.  Excel Like Moses and Zipping Laura collided on the first turn.  Excel Like Moses checked off Oakmont Octum on the first turn.  Zipping Laura galloped on Aye Pee McCoy approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Excel Like Moses crossed in, in the home straight checking Barroom Promise.

Stewards spoke to Mr S Clarke, the trainer of Dodgy Dede regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Dodgy Dede last raced 3 September, 2015. Mr Clarke stated the greyhound is returning from a spell following a fractured metacarpal.

Zall Good was quick to begin.  Dodgy Dede and Watch This Space were slow to begin.  
Dr. Bodacious went up with the lids at box rise.  Silent Stealth and Allen Whirly collided approaching the first turn checking Silent Stealth.  Chuck's Me Boy and Dr. Bodacious collided approaching the first turn.  Empire Lightning and Allen Whirly collided on the first turn checking Silent Stealth, Allen Whirly and Watch This Space with Watch This Space galloping on Allen Whirly as a result and severely checking Allen Whirly.  Dodgy Dede and Chuck's Me Boy collided on the first turn.  Chuck's Me Boy raced wide in the home straight.

Stewards noted that Silent Stealth's muzzle was disengaged during this event.

Allen Whirly showed signes of distress after the event.  Consequently, the greyhound was vetted after the event - No apparent injury was found

Ring The Bell and Absolute Power collided soon after the start.  Seeking Justice and Paddles Anderson collided on the first turn.  Tribal Faith lost ground in the back straight.

Tribal was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right shoulder injury, right pelvis and right medial thigh soreness, a 14 stand down period was imposed.

Absolute Power ran a new track record over the distance of 680mtrs in a time of 38.84

Beautiful Rick and Magic Is Might were quick to begin.  Coolan Boy and Ballymac Finola were slow to begin.

Gee Callan and Ballymac Finola collided soon after the start.  Beautiful Rick galloped on Magic Is Might on the first turn checking Magic Is Might, Arby, Gee Callan, Coolan Boy and severely checking Beautiful Rick.  Magic Is Might and Dalgetty collided on the first turn checking Dalgetty.  Arby and Dalgetty collided approaching the home turn.  Coolan Boy checked off Ballymac Finola on the home turn.

Fuelish, Pop The Cork and Above All were slow to begin.

Spring Missile was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

After a urine sample could not be obtained, a blood sample was taken from Spring Missile - unplaced in the event. An Out of Competition Sample could also not be obtained from this greyhound on 21 Januray, 2016.

Samples were taken from the placegetters - To The Galo's (1st), Big Ticket (2nd) and Above All (3rd).

Stewards spoke to Mr B Dewan, the handler of Dewana Babe regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Dewana Babe last raced 26 August, 2015. Mr Dewan stated the greyhound had been on season during this time. Mr Dewan also declared a new weight of 30.5kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Dewana Babe last raced at 29.4kgs.

Black Frenzy was quick to begin.  Roxy's Pride and Foxy Nakita were slow to begin.

Willie Gee and Dewana Babe collided soon after the start checking Dewana Babe.  Foxy Nakita crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Cotton Bud Joe and Dashing Diesel.  Willie Gee clipped the heels of Roxy's Pride approaching the home turn checking Willie Gee which stumbled.  Dewana Babe and Bolt On collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.  

Zelemar Zonk and Wez Gordy were quick to begin.  Mighty Sprite stumbled at box rise and was slow to begin.

Zelemar Zonk and Immortal Dream collided on the first turn checking Gotta Get Back and Zelemar Zonk.  Unaffordable crossed to the outside approaching the home turn checking Mighty Sprite which raced wide.  Gotta Get Back and Blue McCool collided on the home turn.  Zelemar Zonk galloped on We're Off Here on the home turn checking both greyhounds.
