Stewards spoke to Ms. M. Shaw, the kennel representative of Windmills regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Windmill last raced on 10th November, 2016. Ms. Shaw stated that the greyhound was returning from an extended spell.

Stewards spoke to Mr. B. Galea, the kennel representative of Julie Flash regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Julie Flash last raced on 2nd November, 2016. Mr. Galea stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following an injury to the right wrist.

Allen Sharpie stumbled at box rise and was very slow to begin (4 lengths).  Bronelly Duke and Helen Allen collided approaching the first turn.  Scott Fortitude, Dane Daisy and Senorita Pepe collided on the first turn, checking Senorita Pepe, Dane Daisy, Bronelly Duke and Helen Allen.  Dane Daisy checked off Swing Arm approaching the home turn.  Dane Daisy and Allen Sharpie collided several times in the home straight.
