Abergavenny, Destini Riptide and Nat's Intention were slow to begin. My Mate Horse and Flash Intention collided soon after the start. Abergavenny and Precious Destini collided approaching the first turn. My Mate Horse and Flash Intention collided approaching the first turn, checking My Mate Horse. Abergavenny and Precious Destini collided on the first turn. Flash Intention and Our Mate Wilson collided on the first turn. Precious Destini and Destini Riptide collided approaching the second turn. Precious Destini and My Mate Horse collided in the back straight.

Sheza Slingshot was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left deltoid muscle, a five day stand down period was imposed.

Tobacco Leaf was slow to begin. Ivanka Rose and Juggernaut Train collided several times soon after the start.  Heracles, Pure Zest, Dyna Nana and John John Lava collided approaching the first turn, severely checking Pure Zest, which pulled up as a result. Ivanka Rose and Juggernaut Train collided on the first turn, severely checking Ivanka Rose. Heracles checked off the heels of Dyna Nana approaching the second turn. John John Lava and Tobacco Leaf collided approaching the home turn, checking Tobacco Leaf. Heracles checked off the heels of Ivanka Rose on the home turn. 

Pure Zest was vetted and re-vetted following event four. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right back muscle, right pencil muscle, and right trianlge, a twenty-one day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Ms. M. Brealey regarding her difficulty in boxing the greyhound Dyna Nana.  Stewards directed that Dyna Nana be boxed first in future events.

Helen Baxter and Backin' Bully were slow to begin and collided soon after the start. Big Bad Badge and Mahalo Miss collided soon after the start. Big Bad Badge, Mahalo Miss, Foxzami Tyga, Helen Baxter and Elrond Bale collided on the first turn, severely checking Mahalo Miss and Helen Baxter; causing Helen Baxter to race wide. Mahalo Miss lost ground as a result. Foxzami Tyga checked off Helen Baxter approaching the third turn. Big Bad Badge and Backin' Bully collided on the third turn. Backin' Bully, Big Bad Badge and Helen Baxter collided approaching the home turn. 

Golden Tears went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Zelemar Roo crossed to the inside soon after the start, checking Our Turbo Boy. Golden Tears and Dyna Mimi collided approaching the first turn. Golden Tears and Dakini Allen collided on the first turn, checking Dakini Allen. Zelemar Roo and Bucky Barnes collided on the first turn. Zelemar Roo checked off the heels of Bucky Barnes approaching the third turn. Zelemar Roo checked off the heels of Golden Tears approaching the third turn, causing Zelemar Roo to stumble. Lektra Timon checked off the heels of Our Turbo Boy on the third turn. Wild Sarah and Lektra Timon collided on the home turn. 

Zelemar Roo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left and right deltoid muscles, a seven day stand down period was imposed.

Telling Lies, Fancy Minter and Trium were slow to begin. Total Hazard crossed to the inside soon after the start, severely checking Megellas Fairy. Megellas Fairy and Fancy Minter collided soon after the start. Total Hazard and Lynlea Jiddy collided approaching the first turn, checking Total Hazard. Dr. Oliver crossed to the outside on the first turn, severely checking Megellas Fairy and Fancy Minter. Megellas Fairy fell as a result. Crackerjack Sam and Trium collided on the first turn. 

Megellas Fairy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the right hind leg and an injury to the right deltoid muscle, a ten day stand down period was imposed. 

Fancy Minter was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both monkey and both deltoid muscles, a ten day stand dow period was imposed. 

Challis Jack, Karise Fusileer and Explosive Sky were slow to begin. Karise Fusileer and Lynlea Jake collided approaching the first turn. Karise Fusileer, Lynlea Jake and Explosive Sky collided on the first turn. Challis Jack checked off the heels of Greysynd Silk approaching the second turn. Lynlea Jake and Hay Miss collided on the home turn. 

Teflon Tony, One Plus Two and Hundred were slow to begin. Captain Risky and Destini Wahoo collided approaching the first turn. Captain Risky and Destini Wahoo collided approaching the first turn. Captain Risky, Destini Wahoo, Gothamburg and Dr. Compulsion collided on the first turn, causing Captain Risky to fall. Rig Fifty Five and Destini Wahoo collided on the first turn. Teflon Tony and Dr. Compulsion collided on the first turn, checking Teflon Tony. 

Captain Risky was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Pee Cripps went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Riveting was slow to begin. Crackerjack Pest and Riveting collided several times from soon after the start to approaching the first turn. Crackerjack Pest, Riveting and Pee Cripps collided on the first turn, checking Crackerjack Pest and Riveting. Alcyone and Pee Cripps collided approaching the third turn.

Cosmic Coaster went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Dr. Cadenza and Gotcha Money were slow out and collided soon after the start, checking Dr. Cadenza. Coo Coo Cononuts and Princess Pout collided approaching the first turn. Crump's Princess and Princess Pout collided on the first turn, checking Crump's Princess. Cosmic Coaster and Gotcha Money collided on the first turn, checking Gotcha Money. Cosmic Coaster and Coo Coo Coconuts collided approaching the third turn. Coo Coo Coconuts checked off the heels of Cosmic Coaster approaching the home turn. Dr. Cadenza checked off the heels of Crump's Princess on the home turn, checking Cosmic Coaster.

Zero Whispers checked off the heels of Seven Two entering the home straight.
