Boris Lee was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fracture to the right hock.  The greyhound was humanely euthanased.

Boloney Club was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Gold Trail was a late scatching at 2:18pm due to a laceration to its right front foot.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. B. Jacobs, the kennel representative of Danny Brook regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Danny Brook last raced on 9th November, 2016.  Mr. Jacobs stated that the greyhound was returning to racing from a spell.

Topaz Warrior trialled over the 390 metre distance from box 1, weight 29.2kgs.  The greyhound was placed 2nd, in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 22.19.  The greyhound was beaten by a margin of 7.25 lengths.  Topaz Warrior was cleared.
