Steward's Report
Willowvale Brezz was a late scratching at 6:22pm on Veterinary advice (GAR 37)(fleas). Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance before any future nomination will be accepted. Stewards opened an inquiry into an incident in the kennelling area involving Trainer Mr. A. Flores. Evidence was taken from Club Veterinarian Dr. C. Hayes and club staff members Mr. W. Barnes and Ms. L. Evans. The inquiry was adjourned to a date to be fixed.
Fearless Swan was quick to begin. Abed Bale and Kayo King were slow to begin. Fairy Pretty, Wot Price Flash and Tiggerlong Cruz collided soon after the start checking all three greyhounds. Fairy Pretty and Wot Price Flash collided approaching the first turn. Wot Price Flash and Kayo King collided on the first turn. Explosive Sky was checked off Abed Bale on the second turn.

Abed Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the left hind leg, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Tiggerlong Cruz was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right monkey muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
