Steward's Report
Le Doyen was a late scratching at 6:19pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to an abrasion and bruising to the right hind foot. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
A pre-race sample was taken from Urban Street.
Steinbeck Knew and Urban Street were slow to begin. Urban Street was checked off Neo Ha Ha on the first turn checking Vintage Warrior. Gold Air and Neo Ha Ha collided on the second turn. Urban Street was checked off Steinbeck Knew on the second turn. Lunar Chief was checked off Gotta Rush in the back straight. Steinbeck Knew and Vintage Warrior collided approaching the home turn. Lunar Chief and Gold Air collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight.
