Sutre Sizzler, Jimmy Newob and First Refusal collided on the first turn checking Jimmy Newob and First Refusal. Jimmy Newob checked off Amigo Two on the home turn checking First Refusal. Jimmy Newbob checked off Sutre Sizzlier on the home turn checking First Refusal. Sixteen Bills galloped on Chezza on the home turn checking both greyhounds. Amigo Two checked off Sutre Sizzler on the home turn checking Jimmy Newob. Sutre Sizzler checked off Chezza entering the home straight checking Sixteen Bills. Amigo Two and First Refusal collided in the home straight checking Amigo Two.

Mr. M. Repia, trainer of Yeah Na Bro declared a new weight of 33.5kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Yeah Na Bro last raced at 32.4kg.

Yeah Nah Bro was slow to begin. Gold Attraction, Barry Bomber, Macka's Victorem, Scoota Flash and Hosting soon after the start checking Gold Attraction, Barry Bomber and Macka's Victorem. Macka's Victorem checked off Hosting on the first turn. Barry Bomber and Macka's Victorem collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Gold Attraction and Yeah Nah Bro collided approaching the home turn severely checking Yeah Nah Bro. Gold Attraction and Hosting collided entering the home straight.

Yeah Na Bro was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right groin and right triangle. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.

Karise Fusileer was quick to begin. Manhattan Man and Some Kinda Girl collided soon after the start. Last Outlaw and Select Opal collided soon after the start. Fiery Chieftain, Manhattan Man, Chrissy Pee and Scarce collided on the first turn checking Manhattan Man, Chrissy Pee and Scarce. Scarce and Select Opal collided on the home turn. Scarce checked off Chrissy Pee on the home turn. Last Outlaw and Karise Fusileer collided on the home turn and again in the home straight. 

Last Outlaw was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr. M. Davis, the trainer of Last Outlaw regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the home straight.

Squirto and Zahra Bella were slow to begin and collided soon after the start. Sugar Hit Heidi and Gunmetal Diva collided approaching the first turn. Squirto and Zahra Bella collided approaching the first turn checking Zahra Bella. Rickety Gate crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Gunmetal Diva and Trov's Gem. Sugar Hit Heidi and Rickety Gate collided approaching the home turn checking Rickety Gate. Zahra Bella, One Required and Gunmetal Diva collided on the home turn checking One Required and Gunmetal Diva and severely checking Zahra Bella which stumbled as a result. Squirto and Rickety Gate collided in the home straight. One Required checked off Trov's Gem collided approaching the winning post.

Bashir was a late scratching at 9.10 AM on Veterinary advice (GAR 37)(fleas). Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance, before any future nomination will be accepted. 

All Inn Together was slow to begin. Milburn Gold crossed to the rail soon after the start. Emi's Boy Macca and Jackdell collided on the first turn checking Emi's Boy Macka. My Sirion checked off Jack's Pick on the second turn checking My Sirion. Jack's Pick and Jackdell collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight. 

Mr. J. Guy, trainer of Kryptonian declared a new weight of 31.8kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Kryptonian last raced at 30.7kg.

Doobstar was quick to begin. Pomp Fiction was slow to begin. Credit Entry and Pomp Fiction collided soon after the start. Cosmic Shiraz checked off Krypyonian on the first turn. Are You and Cosmic Shiraz collided on the first turn. Vanderville and Doobstar collided approaching the home turn checking Doobstar and Kryptonian. Vanderville and Blue Blitz collided on the home turn. Are You and Blue Blitz collided entering the home straight.

Vanderville was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound suffered heat stress. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.

Following Race 7, Stewards in consultation with the On-Track Veterinarian, abandoned Races 8-12 at 11.56 AM due to the hot weather conditions.
