Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Iron Side upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
A pre-race sample was taken from Sparkling Kitty.
Iron Side and Mick Rydian were slow to begin. Chief Brit and Maximum Melva collided soon after the start checking Maximum Melva. Elite Stress and Sparkling Kitty collided soon after the start checking Elite Stress which faltered and tailed off as a result. Dodge The Cop and Miss Utamurra collided approaching the home turn checking Miss Utamurra.
Elite Stress was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its right back muscle and right quadriceps. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
