This meeting was deemed heat affected.  At the end of kennelling the outside temperature was 31.2 degrees and the kennel temperature was 18.0 degrees.

She Is Creative, Creative Moves, Rosacky Thunder and Soon Now collided soon after the start.  Adala Son and She Is Creative collided approaching the first turn, checking Adala Son.  Nolita Nelly, She Is Creative and Soon Now collided on the first turn, checking all three greyhounds.  Rosacky Thunder, Aston Miley and Hello Cody collided on the first turn, checking Aston Miley.

Nolita Nelly was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing to the right front paw, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Trademark Chops and Harambe's Might were slow to begin.  Kyante, Chasin' Crackers and Red Hot Fox collided soon after the start.  Trademark Chops eased entering the back straight, checking Red Hot Fox.  Harambe's Might checked off Kyante in the back straight, checking Bombastic Tim.  Chasin' Crackers checked off Kyante on the home turn.

Stewards spoke to B Sands, the trainer of the greyhound Trademark Chops regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the back straight.  Trademark Chops was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left hamstring, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Trademark Chops with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  B Sands pleaded guilty to the charge, Trademark Chops was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Miss Fab and Wendy Can't Run collided soon after the start.  Cain Hoy, Zipping Hetty and Purple Hand collided approaching the first turn.

Cain Hoy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a dislocated right front toe, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Miss Fab was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the left hind hock and paw, right monkey muscle, and right calf, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

The outside temperature was 32 degrees and the heat affected meeting conditions were waived after  this race.

Le Sands was a late scratching at 5.45pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to bruising at left eye. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Spritely Pizazz and Allen Clown were slow to begin.

Dr. Gidget, Maggie's Alone and Beljay Galaxy were quick to begin.  Mac's Intention and Shadale collided soon after the start, checking Mac's Intention.  Dr. Gidget checked off Beljay Galaxy on the first turn, checking Beljay Galaxy, Shadale and My Miss Molly.  Beljay Galaxy, Shadale and My Miss Molly collided approaching the second turn, severely checking Bejay Galaxy and My Miss Molly.  Dr. Gidget checked off Trouper on the second turn.  Mac's Intention and Dr. Gidget collided approaching the home turn.

Canino was quick to begin.  Elrond Bale, Diegonator and Kim Kadash collided on the first turn.  Elrond Bale and Kim Kadash collided on the second turn.

Lochinvar Rox and Belisarius were slow to begin.  Destructo Rat and Ballistic Beauty collided soon after the start, checking Destructo Rat.  Angelic Hand, Betta Bale and Belisarius collided on the first turn, checking Betta Bale and Belisarius.  Ballistic Beauty and Belisarius collided on the first turn.  Destructo Rat checked off Betta Bale approaching the second turn.  Destructo Rat and Belisarius collided approaching the third turn.

Greenback Boogie and Tiger Butch were slow to begin.  Ablazin Mikado checked off Greenback Boogie on the first turn, checking Tiger Butch, Division Four and Dr. Kestrel and severely checking Greenback Boogie.  Greenback Boogie checked off Dr. Kestrel approaching the home turn.

He Shall Peter and Birkenhead were slow to begin.  Perfect Hours and Mini Dozer collided approaching the first turn.  Scott Fortitude and Chabay Laray collided approaching the first turn, severely checking Scott Fortitude.  He Shall Peter and Birkenhead collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds.  He Shall Peter checked off Birkenhead approaching the home turn.

Roshani's Dream was a late scratching at 5.33pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to being on season. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Spazzy Blue was slow to begin.  Spirited Quality stumbled approaching the home turn and lost ground.

Spirited Quality was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right calf and left quadriceps, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Enchanted Lass was quick to begin.  Snow Mistake and Taarie Bale collided approaching the first turn, checking Snow Mistake.  Gardot and Enchanted Lass collided on he first turn, checking Gardot.  Mini Tron and My Baby Porscha collided approaching the home turn.  Gardot and Mini Tron collided in the home straight.

Ms. D. Ireland handler of Atlas Roughead declared a new weight of 31.4kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Atlas Roughead last raced at 32.5kg.

Atlas Roughhead and Booma Mikado were quick to begin.  Select Sanz and Choclotto collided approaching the first turn.  Atlas Roughhead eased on the first turn and collided with Booma Mikado.  Tekki Lightning and Atlas Roughhead collided on the home turn.  Jax Mikado and Sports Knight collided on the home turn.

Atlas Roughhead was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.  Representative D Ireland declined the stewards offer of a re-vet.

D Ireland pleaded guilty to the charge, Atlas Roughhead was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Cranbourne and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
