Steward's Report

Lion Rebel and Tuggeragh collided soon after the start. Flywheel Alfie was checked off Lion Rebel approaching the first turn. Dr. Sherlock galloped on Tuggeragh on the first turn severely checking Dr. Sherlock causing Dr. Sherlock to fall checking Tuggeragh and Lion Rebel. Flywheel Alfie was checked off Lion Rebel on the first turn severely checking Flywheel Alfie which stumbled and lost considerable ground as a result.

Dr. Sherlock was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the right stifle, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.
