George Mist and Mr. Make Believe were slow to begin. Our Miss Nitro, Letron James and Gully Raider collided approaching the first turn, checking Our Miss Nitro and Letron James. Chase The Breeze and Helga Bale collided on the first turn. Chase The Breeze checked off Helga Bale on the second turn, checking George Mist and Mr. Make Believe, causing both greyhounds to race wide as a result. Gully Raider and Helga Bale collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn. Gully Raider and Glass Roof collided approaching the winning post.
