Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mrs. J. Riches, the trainer of Arolok Dora regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Arolok Dora last raced on 8th July, 2015. Mrs Riches stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after being on season.
A pre race sample was taken from Erratic Lord.
Arolok Dora and Erratic Lord were slow to begin. Rhapsody Twist and Wobbler collided on the first turn. Doobstar clipped the heels of Our Miss Deena approaching the home turn, severely checking Our Miss Deena. Our Miss Deena and Doobstar collided approaching the home turn. Our Miss Deena and Wobbler collided approaching the home turn. Our Miss Deena and Arolok Dora collided on the home turn, checking Our Miss Deena, Wobbler and Doobstar. Doobstar and Wobbler collided in the home straight.
Brandeen Roma was vetted after it was noted that the greyhound fell prior to entering the catching pen. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left thigh, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Our Miss Deena was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right thigh, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
