Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mrs. A. Kampman, the trainer of Tally Ho Tink regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Tally Ho Tink last raced on 8th August, 2016. Mrs. Kampman stated that the greyhound was returning to racing from a spell.
Yaala was a late scratching at 2:01pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr. A. Welsh was fined the sum of $100.
A pre-race sample was taken from Tally Ho Tink.
Amari was slow to begin. Escondido, Tally Ho Tink and Simply Good collided soon after the start checking Tally Ho Tink. Tally Ho Tink, Gunmetal Angel and Blue Label collided approaching the first turn checkingTally Ho Tink and Blue Label. Escondido and Simply Good collided on the first turn. Simply Good and Gunmetal Angel collided on the home turn checking Gunmetal Angel. Amari and Heavy Pockets collided in the home straight checking Heavy Pockets.
