Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mrs L. Delbridge , the trainer of Dazzling Diva regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Dazzling Diva last raced on 12th October, 2016. Mrs Delbridge stated that the greyhound was new to the kennel.
Boy George was a late scratching at 6.39 p.m. on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to injury - sore neck/saddle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
A pre race sample was taken from Miss Emmy Rose.
Miss Emmy Rose was slow to begin and stumbled soon after the start, losing ground as a result. Our Didda and Kiera Bale collided approaching the first turn, checking Our Didda. Kiera Bale and Dazzling Diva collided approaching the home turn, checking Kiera Bale.
