Steward's Report
Stetson Houdini, Tunisian and Mr. Bad Example were slow to begin. Petra Allen and Sisco Rascal collided soon after the start. Tunisian and Petra Allen collided soon after the start and again on the first turn checking Petra Allen and severely checking Tunisian and Mr. Bad Example; Tunisian stumbled and Mr. Bad Example fell and contacted the outside fence as a result. Not For Long crossed to the outside approaching the second turn and raced wide. Tunisian checked off Not For Long entering the home straight.
Stetson Houdini was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to its left hind calf and left back muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Tunisian was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards issued a warning to Mr. P. Clark, the trainer of Tunisian regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.
Mr. Bad Example was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left shin. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
