A pre race sample was taken from Fast Freddie.
Crymelon Jato was quick to begin. Fast Freddie and Louis Mini Girl collided several times approaching the first turn, checking Fast Freddie. Crymelon Jato galloped on the heels of Brienne on the first turn, checking Golden Fang and Bangor Glynis, and severely checking Crymelon Jato and Brienne, Brienne fell as a result.
Brienne was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right shoulder, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.
