Lunchmoney Lewis was slow to begin.  Magic Sorcerer and Ima Lara Lass collided soon after the start.  Queen Elma crossed to the outside approaching the 250m mark.  Senorita Crisis and Dusty's Magic collided at the 250m mark and again at the 200m mark.  Dusty's Magic and Ima Lara Lass collided at the 150m mark, checking Ima Lara Lass.

G Johnson, trainer of Shakey Benz declared a new weight of 35.2kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Shakey Benz last raced at 33.2kgs.

Calvin Candie and Pee Jay Ripper were slow to begin.  Pee Jay Ripper crossed to the outside soon after the start.  Calvin Candie, Shakey Benz and Trov's Gem collided approaching the 250m mark, checking Shakey Benz.  Trov's Gem checked off Miss Jay Dodgers at the 200m mark.  Calvin Candie and Hello Bobby collided at the 150m mark, checking Calvin Candie, Hello Bobby and Shakey Benz.  Trov's Gem and Horey's Girl collided approaching the 100m mark.  Miss Jay Dodgers crossed to the outside at the 100m mark, checking Pee Jay Ripper, causing Miss Jay Dodgers to stumble as a result.  Miss Jay Dodgers and Pee Jay Ripper collided several times from the 100m mark until the winning post.

Miss Jay Dodgers was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

Darbain Dynasty and Arctic Blaze were slow to begin.  Run Sienna Run crossed to the outside soon after the start.  Arctic Blaze galloped on the heels of Tzar Knight approaching the 250m mark, severely checking both greyhounds.  Tzar Knight and Arctic Blaze collided at the 200m mark.

Cyclone Rosie and Minor Hiccup were slow to begin.  Cyclone Rosie, Classic Moments and Zahra Bella collided approaching the 150m mark, checking Classic Moments.  Cosmic Jam checked off Classic Moments approaching the 100m mark.  Classic Moments checked off Viral Vane approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to G Whitford, the trainer of Rylee's Rookie regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Rylee's Rookie last raced on 29 August 2015. G Whitford stated that the greyhound had recently changed kennels.

Kynan's Magic and Eumeralla Donny were slow to begin.  Brandon's Way and Kynan's Magic collided soon after the start, checking both greyhounds.  Rylee's Rookie and Rip And Tear collided at the 250m mark.

J Hardy, trainer of Zarbo's Kama declared a new weight of 31.4kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Zarbo's Kama last raced at 32.6kgs.

Princess Sage was a late scratching at 8.54am due to injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Ima Terror was slow to begin.

N Carthew, trainer of Still Just Under declared a new weight of 32.8kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Still Just Under last raced at 32.8kgs.

J Walker, trainer of Howth declared a new weight of 30.8kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Howth last raced at 32.4kgs.

Howth went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin (6 lengths).  Foxy Fern was slow to begin.  Azzas Girl and Petentim collided soon after the start.  Azzas Girl galloped on the heels of Callaway approaching the 150m mark, checking both greyhounds.

Lido's Boy was slow to begin.  Acela Express and Calabrese Coco collided soon after the start, checking Acela Express.  Cathay Princess and Go Speaross collided soon after the start.  Acecla Express crossed to the outside at the 250m mark.  Go Speaross and To Infinity collided approaching the 200m mark, checking Cathay Princess.  Go Speaross and Calabrese Coco collided at the 150m mark.

MEETING CONDITIONS:

Satisfactory Trial Results - General's Girl trialled over the 300m from box 1, weight 25.9kgs, the greyhound was placed second in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 17.11, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 2 3/4 lengths. General's Girl was cleared - straight track racing only.
