Steward's Report
Better Beware and Perry White were quick to begin. Speed And Rocket and Coolan Girl were slow to begin.
Coolan Girl crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Text Me Tony, Misty Febey and Speed And Rocket and severely checking Tina's Tiddles. Text Me Tony and Coolan Girl collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Better Beware lost ground over the concluding stages and raced wide in the home straight.
Better Beware was vetted and after being re-vetted folowing event 11, It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right medial thigh and left stifle pain, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
A sample was taken from Coolan Girl - winner of the event.
Stewards spoke to Mr R. Cameron, the trainer of the greyhound Better Beware. Stewards deemed the perforamce of Better Beware unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Better Beware must perform a Satisfactory Trial all tracks before any future nomination will be accepted.
