Crooked Vulture checked off Leaf Spring approaching the first turn. Leaf Spring and Bye All collided on the first turn checking Leaf Spring which collided with Puddle Jumper. Select Danger and Force's Awaken collided approaching the home turn. Great Leo raced wide throughout the event.

Great Leo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained sprains to both wrists. A stand down period of 10 days was imposed.

Just Banji checked off Double Dealer on the first turn. Liscoyle Lady and Select Casey collided on the first turn severely checking Select Casey. Stiking Bikini galloped on the heels of Super Stoked approaching the home turn severely checking Striking Bikini and Latifi Zeus. Select Casey galloped on the heels of Super Stoked approaching the home turn severely checking Striking Bikini and Latifi Zeus. Select Casey and Double Dealer collided on the home turn. Striking Bikini and Double Dealer collided entering the home straight and in the home straight.

Mr. Stealer was quick to begin. Destini Wahoo was slow to begin. Roll 'Em Sharkey, Hi Ho Geronimo and Nallak collided soon after the start. Destini Wahoo galloped on Roll 'Em Sharky on the first turn checking Destini Wahoo and severely checking Roll 'Em Sharky and Flying Zarli. Mr. Stealer checked off Amigo on the home turn.

Sam's general and Tayla's Banjo were slow to begin. Jimmy Got Style and Right Now were slow to begin. Jimmy Got Style and Last Outlaw soon after the start checking Jimmy Got Style. Magic Sorcerer and Sam's General collided approaching the first turn. Tayla's Banjo and Down Mexico Way collided approaching the first turn checking Tayla's Banjo and Sam's General. Sam's General and Jimmy Got Style collided on the first turn. Right Now raced wide in the home straight.

A pre race sample was taken from Miss Twerker.

Cullquin Nikki and Camelot Rose collided soon after the start. Miss Twerker and Kalimna Express collided on the first turn checking Miss Twerker. Cullquin Nikki and Meatball collided on the second turn checking Cullquin Nikki and Kalimna Express. Foxy Whip and Meatball collided on the home turn. Meatball and Miss Twerker collided on the home turn. Foxy Whip, Meatball and Miss Twerker collided in the home straight checking all three greyhounds. 

A sample was taken from Dessy Fozz, winner of the event.

Mr. G. Gledhill, trainer of Black Albert declared a new weight of 34.8kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Black Albert last raced at 33.3kg. Stewards spoke to Mr. Gledhill, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Black Albert last raced on 19th August. Mr. Gledhill stated that the greyhound was new to his kennels.

This race was delayed by 2 minuters due to the late arrival of the greyhounds at the boxes.

Escondido was vetted prior to the event and declared fit to race.

Starlight Jill and Sunny Village were quick to begin. Kinsley Boy was slow to begin. Starlight Jill, Sunny Village and Black Albert collided approaching the first turn checking Black Albert. Escondido was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left monkey muscle. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.
