Hunter Rocks was quick to begin. Destini Baby, Zipping Noel, Initial Factor and Lido's Boy collided soon after the start. Destini baby, Zipping Noel and Initial Factor collided on the first turn checking Destini Baby and Initial Factor. Zipping Noel fell as a result. Lido's Boy checked off John's magic in the back straight. Hunter Rocks and John's Magic collided on the second turn. Turbo Chief checked off Lido's Boy on the home turn.
