Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Schofield, the trainer of Nangar Tiger regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Nangar Tiger last raced on 10th July, 2016.  Mr. Schofield stated that the greyhound had a cyst removed from the right front foot.

Nikon Bale was slow to begin.  Calvin Candie and Blitzen Bell collided on the first turn checking Calvin Candie.  Redefined checked off Nangar Tiger on the first turn  Redefined checked off Blitzen Bell approaching the home turn.  Nikon Bale checked off Redefined in the home straight.  Calvin Candie checked off Blitzen Bell in the home straight.

Moneypenny was slow to begin.  Deadly Mary crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Mummy's Ok, Eagelhawk Beffa and Da Bont.  Mummy's Ok checked off Kalimna Express entering the back straight checking Tink Allen.  Kalimna Express checked off Crazed Blaze on the second turn.  Da Bont and Crazed Blaze collided approaching the home turn checking Da Bont.  Da Bont checked off Kalimna Express in the home straight.

Eaglehawk Beffa was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left monkey muscle.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
