Our Nico went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Osti's Sprite was slow to begin. Haptic Bale and Osti's Sprite collided soon after the start. Brindle Blitz and Run Jackie Run collided on the first turn, checking Brindle Blitz which brushed the running rail as a result. Eureka Osti and Run Jackie Run collided on the first turn, checking Run Jackie Run and Haptic Bale. Major Gold raced wide on the first turn, causing Osti's Sprite to gallop on the heels of Major Gold, checking both greyhounds. Run Jackie Run and Our Nico collided on the home turn, checking Our Nico. Our Nico checked off Haptic Bale in the home straight. Eureka Osti checked off Osti's Sprite approaching the winning post.
