Blue Deception was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right pencil muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Blocka Boy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right monkey muscle, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Matthews, the trainer of Filius Flitwick regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Filius Flitwick last raced on the 24th of August, 2016. Mr. Matthews stated that Filius Flitwick is returning to racing from a spell.

MEETING CONDITIONS:

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to G Shingles, the trainer of Wahlberg regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Wahlberg last raced on 26 March 2016. G Shingles stated that the greyhound was returning from an injured right back muscle.  Pursuant to GAR 77A, Wahlberg trialled over the 300m from box 1, weight 33.6kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 16.80, the greyhound won by a margin of 6 lengths. Wahlberg was cleared.
