A pre race sample was taken from Parsnip.
Rampant Jack and Joffa's Old Girl collided soon after the start, checking Joffa's Old Girl. Rampant Jack checked off Parsnip approaching the first turn. Cowboy Love crossed to the rail on the first turn, checking Arolok Jane, Parsnip and Rampant Jack. Arolok Jane galloped on the heels of Cowboy Love in the home straight.
Cowboy Love which tired over the concluding stages, was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left thigh and an abrasion to the left hind leg, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
