Riverside Tarzan and Mickey Bale collided soon after the start and again on the first turn checking Mickey Bale and Don One.  Hogg's The Boss galloped on the heels of Dashing Diamond approaching the home turn checking Hogg's The Boss which collided with Moore Of Moore resulting in Bingo Bubba and Mickey Bale being checked and Hogg's The Boss losing considerable ground.  Lorian Victory and Don One raced wide entering the home straight.  Mickey Bale and Hogg's The Boss collided entering the home straight.  Hogg's The Boss checked off Mickey Bale in the home straight and contacted the running rail. 

Dashing Diamond was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hind leg abrasion, no stand down period was imposed.

Lochinvar Rox and Regis Moment collided approaching the first turn checking Regis Moment which collided with Whisper Troy resulting in Crackerjack Doug, Regis Moment and Desert General being checked.  Riverdale Banjo, Regis Moment, Desert General and Crackerjack Doug collided on the first turn checking Regis Moment and Desert General.  Riverdale Banjo checked off Lochinvar Rox in the home straight.  Lochinvar Rox and Allen Kappa raced wide approaching the winning post.

Acting on a confirmed phone call from Trainer, Mr P.Aulakh (Rupcy) who stated he had experienced a car breakdown on route to the track. Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Rupcy at 6.19pm.

Zipping Angus and Captain Risky were quick to begin.

Lochinvar Chip checked off Zipping Angus soon after the start.  Captain Risky and Zipping Angus collided approaching the first turn.  Zipping Angus galloped on the heels of Rolling approaching the home turn and collided with Swing Arm resulting in Swing Arm and Zipping Angus being checked.  Dee Mini Mouse raced wide on the home turn.  Captain Risky checked off Meehan Barney approaching the winning post.  Dee Mini Mouse faltered approaching the winning post and tailed off.

Dee Mini Mouse was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left calf injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to kennel representative Mr K. Lloyd, (Mr Moonlight) regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Mr Moonlight last raced on 11 August 2016. Mr Lloyd stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following a change of kennel..

Crackerjack Dave and Dakini Allen collided soon after the start checking Crackerjack Dave.  Country Jane and Sugar Roselee collided soon after the start.  Flat Twin and Don's Disaster collided approaching the first turn.  Mr. Moonlight, Country Jane and Bingo Sally collided on the first turn checking Country Jane.  Mr. Moonlight and Bingo Sally collided approaching the home turn.  Bingo Sally raced wide on the home turn.  Mr. Moonlight, Dakini Allen, Country Jane and Sugar Roselee collided approaching the winning post.

Subsequent to the event Stewards spoke to handler Julie Riley ( Don's Disaster) and advised her to show more care when boxing greyhounds in future.

Stewards spoke to Mr.N.Koutsarakis, the trainer of Tiger Butch, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Tiger Butch last raced on 3 July 2016. Mr Koutsarakis stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following a change of kennel . Mr Koutsarakis also stated the greyhound had suffered a metacarpal injury.

Hogwarts Express was slow to begin.

Cruisy's Empress, Royal Cosmic and Becky Bale collided soon after the start checking Royal Cosmic.  Hogwarts Express and Cruisy's Empress collided approaching the first turn.  Royal Cosmic, Becky Bale, Another Blue and Jellybean Jess collided on the first turn checking Jellybean Jess, Cruisy's Empress and severely checking Another Blue.  Jellybean Jess and Hogwarts Express collided approaching the home turn.  Royal Cosmic checked off Tiger Butch on the home turn and collided with Becky Bale.  Royal Cosmic raced wide on the home turn. 

Another Blue was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right wrist injury,a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Jesterday was slow to begin.

Barton Bale and Pippy Dippy collided soon after the start checking Pippy Dippy.  Pippy Dippy and Ima Wildfire collided approaching the first turn.  Hurricane Queen, Lucky Brew, Barton Bale and Sub Zero Magic collided approaching the first turn checking Sub Zero Magic and Ima Wildfire.  Sub Zero Magic and Ima Wildfire collided on the home turn.

Borris Delight and Royal Knocka collided soon after the start checking Borris Delight.  World's On Fire checked off It's A Movin' approaching the first turn.  World's On Fire, Rock'em Elvis and Brakani collided on the first turn checking World's On Fire, Royal Knocka and severely checking Borris Delight, causing Rock'em Elvis to stumble.

Borris Delight was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the head, no stand down period was imposed.

Envy Heist was vetted prior to the event and passed fit to race.

Supreme Prince and Fool Proof collided soon after the start checking Fool Proof.  Envy Heist and Traveller's Joy collided approaching the first turn checking Envy Heist.  Zoprush and Supreme Prince collided approaching the first turn checking Supreme Prince.  Meehan Roy, Calabasas and Zoprush collided on the first turn checking Calabasas, Zoprush, Supreme Prince, Fool Proof and Envy Heist.  Zoprush and Envy Heist collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Calabasas and Supreme Prince collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.
