Steward's Report
Robusto and Vapourette collided soon after the start. Pure Proof, Kraken Mary and Mid Air Crash collided soon after the start, checking Kraken Mary. Dargo Street, Robusto and Vapourette collided approaching the first turn, checking Dargo Street. Pure Proof and Mid Air Crash collided on the first turn. Kraken Mary faltered on the first turn and tailed off as a result. Pure Proof and Mid Air Crash collided approaching third turn, checking Mid Air Crash. Vapourette and Robusto collided on the third turn, checking Vapourette. Ultimate Refund and Pure Proof collided approaching the home turn.
Kraken Mary was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the right shoulder and right pencil muscles, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. K. Eyles, the trainer of the greyhound Kraken Mary. Stewards deemed the performance of Kraken Mary unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Kraken Mary must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
