Steward's Report
A pre race sample was taken from Shifty Sticka.
Kooper's Crown, Mineola County and Irenena collided approaching the first turn. Check My Swagger and Batman collided approaching the second turn. Irenena eased entering the back straight checking Kooper's Crown.
Irenena was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury .
Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Stack, the trainer of the greyhound Irenena. Acting under GAR 69(1)(b) stewards charged Irenena with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at The Meadows and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Stewards conducted a box draw for the Topcat Video Cup to be held on 28/09.2013. The official box draw is as follows:
