Mr. R. Matthews, handler of Daintree Destroy declared a new weight of 36.9 kg's for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Daintree Destroy last raced at 38.1 kg's.

Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Williamson, the trainer of Tempus Fugit regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Tempus Fugit last raced on the 18th of August. Mr. Williamson stated that Tempus Fugit is returning to racing from a spell.

I've Got Bills, which left the track prior to being vetted at Shepparton on Thursday 24th of August, was vetted after kennelling this evening. It was reported that there was no apparent injury. Stewards spoke to Mr. Berry and issued him with a severe reprimand for leaving the track before officially checking with Stewards. Stewards also reiterated to Mr. Berry the process involved in confirming with Stewards before leaving the course, that he is free to do so.
