Satisfactory Trial Results

Barroom Shiraz (returning from retirement) trialled over the 400 metre distance from box 1, weight 25.0kgs.  The greyhound was placed 2nd, in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 23.04.  The greyhound was beaten by a margin of 1.25 lengths.  Barroom Shiraz was cleared.

Barroom Blazer (returning from retirement) trialled over the 400 metre distance from box 3, weight 29.4kgs.  The greyhound was placed 3rd, in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 23.04.  The greyhound was beaten by a margin of 4.5 lengths.  Barroom Blazer was cleared.

Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Condon, the trainer of Vefah Victory regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Vefah Victory last raced on 21st February 2016.  Mr. Condon stated that the greyhound was returning to race after a change of kennel.  Pursuant to GAR 77A, Vefah Victory trialled over the 400 metre distance from box 7, weight 34.0kgs.  The greyhound was placed 1st, in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 23.04.  The greyhound won by a margin of 1.25 lengths.  Vefah Victory was cleared.

Nitrology trialled over the 400 metre distance from box 8, weight 33.2kgs.  The greyhound was placed 4th, in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 23.04. The greyhound was beaten by a margin of 8 lengths.  Nitrology was not cleared.
