Smooth Rebel, Black Driftwood, Marley Bale and Low Talker were slow to begin. Dyna Shinko and Cadence Bale collided soon after the start. Black Driftwood, Marley Bale and Low Talker collided soon after the start. Fantastic Roxy, Silvertop and Dyna Shinko collided on the first turn checking Dyna Shinko and Cadence Bale. Black Driftwood and Low Talker collided on the first turn checking Smooth Rebel, Black Driftwood and Marley Bale causing Marley Bale to race wide as a result. Dyna Shinko and Low Talker collided on the second turn. Fantastic Roxy and Silvertop collided on the second turn. Black Driftwood checked off Marley Bale approaching the third turn.
