Memphis Jookin' and Gardsman collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking Memphis Jookin'. Last Boy Scout, Sir Charleton, Get Up Dinozzo and Pyromania collided on the first turn checking Last Boy Scout and severely checking Sir Charleton, Get Up Dinozzo and Pyromania.

Sir Charleton was vetted vollowing the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained grazes to right metatarsals, no stand down period was imposed.
