Steward's Report
Just Hang On was a late scratching at 3:15pm due to an illness/ elevated temperature. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance as this is the second time in 7 days that the greyhound has been withdrawn at kennelling due to illness/elevated temperature.
Mr. T. Whitford, trainer of See SixtyThree declared a new weight of 30.6kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). See Sixty Three last raced at 29.0kgs.
Reek and Little Mischa were quick to begin. Archie Jack was slow to begin. Jessio Fozzio checked off Little Mischa approaching the first turn. Jessio Fozzio galloped on Little Mischa on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Archie Jack and Little Mischa collided on the first turn checking Little Mischa and Jessio Fozzio. Sultan's Boy and Reek collided on the home turn. Archie Jack and See Sixty Three collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight. Sultan's Boy and Reek collided in the home straight.
See Sixty Three was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
