Mahlo Blackbird was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Platinum Perri and Birkenhead collided on the first turn, checking Birkenhead.

Stewards spoke to J Vassallo regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Mahlo Blackbird.  Stewards directed that Mahlo Blackbird be boxed first in future events.

Majestic Mia was quick to begin.  Pink Caviar was slow to begin.  Mahlo Ushuaia was very slow to begin (4 lengths).  Majestic Mia and Pink Caviar collided approaching the winning post.

Mahlo Ushuaia was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Chief Tonto was very slow to begin (6 lengths).  Baby Tenby and Ringading Sister collided approaching the winning post, checking Baby Tenby.

The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Parto's Path and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 6:00pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. R. Partington was fined the sum of $100.

Tinaka and Jack Of Meade were slow to begin.  Fancy De Kahn and Jack Of Meade collided on the first turn and again on the home turn, checking Fancy De Kahn.

J Reddoch, trainer of Gold Rush Dozer declared a new weight of 34.1 for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Gold Rush Dozer last raced at 32.5.

Dynamic Rainbow was quick to begin.  Ringading Bling was slow to begin.  Ringading Bling galloped on the heels of Gold Rush Dozer on the home turn.

Mini Tron was quick to begin.  Gozo Man was slow to begin.  Belron Del and Why Not Will collided on the first turn, checking Belron Del.  Belron Del checked off Hunchback on the home turn.

Make That Call was a late scratching at 5:51pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a laceration to the left hind foot. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
