Steward's Report
Mr. S. Smith, handler of Texta Arandt declared a new weight of 27.0kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Texta Arandt last raced at 25.4kgs.
A pre-race sample was taken from Simentone.
Texta Arandt was quick to begin. Glory Rose was slow to begin. Simentone and Jack's Alouette collided soon after the start checking Jack's Alouette. Flaming Causeway and Crackerjack Surf collided approaching the first turn. Crackerjack Surf and Glory Rose collided approaching the home turn checking Glory Rose.
Jack's Alouette was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left monkey muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
