Bells Are Ringin was quick to begin. Houdini Spell was slow to begin. Able Chief and All Bolts collided approaching the first turn. Tycoon Diamond crossed to the rail on the first turn, checking Able Chief, Houdini Spell, All Bolts and Be Hopeful. Able Chief and Run On Rosey collided approaching the home turn. Able Chief brushed the running rail entering the home straight. Brother Moses raced wide in the home straight.
Able Chief was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left pencil, a five day stand down period was imposed.
