Mr. Kyriacopoulos stated the greyhound had been recovering from a fractured metatarsal. Mr. Kyriacopoulos also redelcared a new weight of 27.1kgs. Nolen's Gift last raced at 26.0kgs.
Aston Force was quick to begin. Time Sent was slow to begin. Dr. Lachie and Nitro Power collided soon after the start. Aston Force, Destini Firebird and Nolen's Gift collided on the first turn checking Destini Firebird. Dr. Lachie and Nitro Power collided in the back straight checking Dr. Lachie.
