Allen Portland crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Moreira and Sunday Sipper.  Houston Bale and Ponting's Nail collided soon after the start.  Moreira and Allen Portland collided approaching the first turn. Sunday Sipper and Allen Portland collided several times from the first turn to approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds.  Sunday Sipper raced wide as a result.  Why Not Jojo and Ponting's Nail collided on the first turn.  Moreira and Zipping Morgan collided approaching the second turn.  Why Not Jojo and Ponting's Nail collided approaching the second turn checking Zipping Morgan, Why Not Jojo and Houston Bale.  Zipping Morgan and Why Not Jojo stumbled as a result.  Allen Portland checked off Sunday Sipper on the second turn.  Zipping Morgan checked off Allen Portland entering the back straight.  What's Up Herbie and Moreira collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight.  Allen Portland checked off Why Not Jojo entering the home straight.  Allen Portland and Why Not Jojo collided approaching the winning post.

Zipping Morgan was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Esparza, Pretty Bale and Sisco Wake were slow to begin.  Cobalt Mist, Kilcolegan Cross, Bronco De Jurer and Big Barking Bert collided on the first turn checking Bronco De Jurer.  Esparza checked off Bronco De Jurer on the first turn checking Pretty Bale.  Kilcolegan Cross and Bronco De Jurer collided in the front straight.  Cobalt Mist and Sisco Wake collided in the front straight.  Kilcolegan Cross galloped on the heels of Cobalt Mist on the second turn and raced wide, checking Pretty Bale.  Kilcolegan Cross and Pretty Bale collided on the third turn and again on the fourth turn checking Kilcolegan Cross.  Esparza and Big Barking Bert collided in the home straight.

Kilcolegan Cross was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right calf and right wrist, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

The start of this race was delayed by approximately 1 minute to hold for an interstate galloping event.

Zipping Felix was slow to begin.  Pappa Gallo and Frattini collided soon after the start.  Sally Gardens, Wind Whistler, Eaton Bale and Marcus Joe collided soon after the start checking all four greyhounds.  Pappa Gallo checked off Frattini on the first turn and raced wide checking Shout Out Loud.  Zipping Felix and Marcus Joe collided on the second turn.  Sally Gardens and Eaton Bale collided on the second turn.  Pappa Gallo raced wide approaching the third turn.  Zipping Felix and Marcus Joe collided on the third turn.  Wind Whistler checked off Marcus Joe entering the back straight.  Wind Whistler and Marcus Joe collided on the fourth turn.  Sally Gardens checked off Shout Out Loud approaching the home turn.  Wind Whistler and Marcus Joe collided entering the home straight.

Pappa Gallo was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right wrist injury, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Oakvale Destiny, Sisco Rage and Lucy Lobster were slow to begin.  Dyna Chaser and Trail Blazing collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.  Sisco Rage checked off Dyna Chaser approaching the first turn.  Cosmic Angel and Lektra Outlaw collided on the first turn checking Lektra Outlaw.  Oakvale Destiny, Dyna Chaser and Trail Blazing collided on the first turn checking Sisco Rage.  Oakvale Destiny and Dyna Chaser collided on the second turn.  Oakvale Destiny and Cosmic Angel collided approaching the third turn checking Oakvale Destiny.  Sisco Rage and Dyna Chaser collided on the third turn checking Sisco Rage.

Lucy Lobster was vetted following the event and was revetted following Race 8.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Riley, handler of Lucy Lobster regarding the greyhound's performance in tonight's events. Mr. Riley stated that Lucy Lobster is best suited when racing near the lead and added in his opinion, the greyhound is much stronger over shorter distances. Stewards noted his explanation and directed samples be taken from Lucy Lobster. 

Ima Misha Doll was quick to begin.  Know Danger and Good Judge Buddy were slow to begin.  Blue Mayhem and Berry Blitz collided soon after the start.  Lamia Bale and Berry Blitz collided on the first turn.  Blue Mayhem and Lamia Bale collided in the front straight.  Blue Mayhem, Darbain Dasher and Know Danger collided on the fourth turn checking Darbain Dasher, Know Danger and Berry Blitz.  Blue Mayhem and Know Danger collided entering the home straight.

Darbain Dasher was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained split left hind webbing, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Lamia Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.  Stewards spoke to Ms. H. Collins representative of Lamia Bale, regarding the greyhound's performance over the concluding stages in tonight's event. Ms. Collins stated that the kennel had slightly restricted Lamia Bale's training in the past week due to a minor injury, which in her opinion may have impacted on the greyhound's fitness towards the end of the race. Ms. Collins added that Lamia Bale has previously been successful over a similar distance, however, on that occasion the greyhound was able to lead. Stewards noted her explanation and took no further action.

Dyna Villa crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Dyna Double One and  What's Chewing.  What's Chewing checked off Quantum Bale on the first turn.  Dyna Double One and Dyna Villa collided on the first turn. Quantum Bale and Percy's Lad collided approaching the second turn.  Dyna Villa faltered on the second turn and lost considerable ground as a result, checking What's Chewing and Percy's Lad.

Dyna Villa was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a torn right back muscle, a 30 day stand down period was imposed.

Amaro Bale and Lissa Breen were slow to begin.  Zigstar and Texas Titan collided soon after the start checking Texas Titan.  Texas Titan and Ima Fairytale collided approaching the first turn.  Amaro Bale, Zigstar and Texas Titan collided approaching the first turn checking Zigstar.  Amaro Bale contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground.  Zipping Eastwood checked off Spring Gambo on the first turn checking Ima Fairytale.  Zigstar checked off Amaro Bale on the second turn.  Texas Titan and Lissa Breen collided entering the home straight.  Zigstar and Ima Fairytale collided entering the home straight.  Texas Titan and Lissa Breen collided approaching the winning post.

Amaro Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right shoulder and left hock, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Allen Oregon and Drift Liner collided on the first turn.  Allen Oregon, Darcon Dash and Apatchy Racer collided on the first turn checking Apatchy Racer and Sir Bridgborn, severely checking Louisiana Lil.  Allen Oregon and Mouth For War collided on the second turn.  Darcon Dash and Drift Liner collided on the third turn checking Drift Liner.

Drift Liner was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right triangle muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Be Two Bomber, Governor Bale and Greysynd Emma were slow to begin.  Be Two Bomber and Governor Bale collided soon after the start.  Zipping Nelson and Jailor Bale collided approaching the first turn.  Hercules Bale, Eyes Adorable and Beyond Today collided on the first turn.  Be Two Bomber and Greysynd Emma collided on the first turn and again approaching the second turn checking Greysynd Emma.  Eyes Adorable and Beyond Today collided on the second turn.  Zipping Nelson checked off Greysynd Emma entering the back straight checking Governor Bale.  Be Two Bomber and Eyes Adorable collided on the third turn checking Eyes Adorable.  Governor Bale checked off Be Two Bomber approaching the home turn and collided with Eyes Adorable.  Beyond Today checked off Jailor Bale on the home turn.  Jailor Bale and Beyond Today collided entering the home straight.

Governor Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Zipping Meg and Lass Bale collided soon after the start.  Call Me Gee and Noonbarra Joe collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.  Noonbarra Joe and Zipping Meg collided on the first turn.  Why Not Luke and Lemon Patchwork collided several times from the first turn to entering the back straight.  Why Not Luke checked off Lemon Patchwork entering the back straight.  Zipping Meg and Lass Bale collided entering the back straight checking Lass Bale.  Noonbarra Joe checked off Zipping Meg on the third turn. 

Why Not Luke was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.  Stewards spoke to Mr G. Carter, Trainer of Why Not Luke.  Stewards deemed the performance of Why Not Luke unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial, All Tracks, before any future nomination will be accepted.
