Dodgy Dede was slow to begin.
Gully Raider and Twist Of Thunder collided soon after the start. Gully Raider, Twist Of thunder and Why Not Les collided approaching the first turn checking Twist Of Thunder. Rivergum Drive and Zipping Cash collided on the first turn checking Zipping Cash and Gully Raider. Why Not Les clipped the heels of Zipping Cash on the first turn causing Why Not Les to race wide approaching the second turn and collided with Dodgy Dede several times, severely checking both greyhounds. Gully Raider and Twist Of Thunder collided entering the home straight.
