Machiko was quick to begin.  Pacific Magic, Lucky Andy and Big Will were slow to begin.  Sultan's Boy and Advocate collided soon after the start and again on the first turn.  Advocate raced wide on the home turn.

Mr. P. Repici was fined the sum of $50 for his failure to produce the registration papers / registration card for the greyhound, Jazzy New Year pursuant to GAR 33.

Dr. Lachie and Sweet Nothins were quick to begin.  Watch This Space and Dr. Nicholas were slow to begin.  River Bling and Our Guy collided soon after the start checking River Bling.  Sweet Nothins crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Dr. Lachie.  Dr. Nicholas and Jazzy New Year collided approaching the first turn checking Jazzy New Year.  Our Guy crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Watch This Space and Sweet Nothins.  Chase On Case and Dr. Nicholas collided approaching the home turn checking Chase On Case.  Dr. Nicholas checked off Watch This Space approaching the home turn; Dr. Nicholas stumbled and lost ground as a result.  Jazzy New Year raced wide approaching the home turn.  Watch This Space raced wide on the home turn. Chase On Case and Dr. Nicholas collided approaching the winning post checking Dr. Nicholas.

Kayla Lass was quick to begin.  Wandering Vicky and Tekki Spader were slow to begin.  Speed And Rocket, Seven Gallons and Kayla Lass collided soon after the start checking Speed And Rocket.  Wandering Vicky, Speed And Rocket and Tekki Spader collided soon after the start severely checking Tekki Spader. Kayla Lass, Shiny Ice, Lil' Scallywag and Pacific Impulse collided on the first turn checking Shiny Ice and Lil' Scallywag.  Shiny Ice and Pacific Impulse collided approaching the home turn.  Speed And Rocket, Shiny Ice and Pacific Impulse collided approaching the home turn checking Shiny Ice and Pacific Impulse. Speed And Rocket checked off Lil' Scallywag on the home turn.  Speed And Rocket raced wide in the home straight.

Smash It, Prince Nando and Star Ripper were slow to begin and collided soon after the start checking Star Ripper.  Uncontrollable, Arvo's Tayzer and Our Blue Earner collided approaching the first turn.  Prince Nando, Uncontrollable, Arvo's Tayzer, Our Blue Earner, Smash It and Star Ripper collided on the first turn checking Arvo's Tayzer, Our Blue Earner and Smash It.

Stewards spoke to the starter, Mr. A Kleeven, after he inadvertantly activated the green light and began boxing the greyhounds for this event before the amber light was activated.  Mr. Kleeven was reminded of his responsibilities and the matter was referred to the Club Manager.

Gold Anthem and Our Miss Penny were quick to begin.  Walmac, Hit The Gas and Miss Kadia were slow to begin.  Marciarno Miss and Heavenly Star collided soon after the start.  Heavenly Star and Super Dot collided approaching the first turn checking Heavenly Star.  Marciarno Miss crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Our Miss Penny.  Heavenly Star and Super Dot collided on the first turn checking Heavenly Star.  Marciarno Miss and Miss Kadia collided on the home turn.  Walmac and Marciarno Miss collided approaching the winning post.

Yellowrock Flame and Dagwood were slow to begin.  Rusty Mia and Precious Pink collided soon after the start checking Rusty Mia, Precious Pink and Yellowrock Flame.  Rusty Mia and Dagwood collided approaching the home turn and again entering the home straight.  Hardaway Tiara and Shooters Echo collided several times approaching the winning post.

Remembrance Day was quick to begin.  Dr. Valhalla was slow to begin.  Hold On Nitro, Dr. Leonardo and Memphis Dream collided soon after the start checking Memphis Dream.  Hold On Nitro crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Harsh Vision.  Memphis Dream raced wide on the first turn.  Dr. Leonardo and Memphis Dream raced wide on the home turn.

Fiesty Fairy was quick to begin.  Power Volt and Oops were slow to begin.  Black Kaspa was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Power Volt and Oops collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Power Volt and Black Kaspa.  Black Kaspa and Sam Harper collided approaching the home turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr. I. Dann, the trainer of Veetee Bulldog regarding the length of time thre greyhound has had between starts.  Veetee Bulldog last raced on 30th May 2015.  Mr. Dann stated that the greyhound has had a change of trainer.  It is also noted Veetee Bulldog ran 4th in a Qualifying Trial on the 16th June.

Mr. I. Dann , trainer of Veetee Bulldog redeclared a new weight of 33.4kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Veetee Bulldog last raced at 35.0kgs.

Arvo's Samaras was quick to begin.  Lektra Kirky, Veetee Bulldog and Wallamba Max were slow to begin.  Lektra Kirky and El Grand Kara collided soon after the start checking Lektra Kirky.  El Grand Kara and Veetee Bulldog collided soon after the start checking El Grand Kara.  Arvo's Samaras and Dr. Balboa collided approaching the first turn checking Arvo's Samaras.  Wallamba Max raced wide on the home turn.

Where's Salma was quick to begin.  Lily Dior was slow to begin.  Play With Magic and Gotham's Hero collided soon after the start severely checking Play With Magic which stumbled and lost considerable ground as a result.  Just Wing It and Lily Dior collided approaching the home turn.  Play With Magic raced wide in home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Krasnaborodkin, trainer of the greyhound Polar Bee regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between starts.  Polar Bee last race on 19th March 2015.  Mr. Krasnaborodkin stated the greyhound had been recovering from a back muscle injury.  Stewards noted his comments.

Obstinate was a late scratching at 11:32 am due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24).  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Acquitted was quick to begin.  Rusty Gun, Big Burkey and Polar Bee were slow to begin.  Lulugen crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Rusty Gun which stumbled as a result.  Dovizioso and Acquitted collided on the first turn checking Acquitted.  Dovizioso and Big Burkey collided approaching the home turn checking Dovizioso.  Acquitted galloped on the heels of Dovizioso approaching the home turn checking Dovizioso.

Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Camilleri, the trainer of Zeppelin Bale regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between starts.  Zeppelin Bale last raced on 4th June 2015.  Mr. Camilleri stated that the greyhound had been recovering from an injured back muscle.  Stewards noted his comments.

Survivor Sal was a late scratching at 10:31am due to illness (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Dr. Mortisha was quick to begin.  Get Up Alvin and Amercia Bale were slow to begin.  Dr. Rahoual and Dr. Mortisha collided soon after the start checking Dr. Rahoual.  Golden Meleni and Zeppelin Bale collided soon after the start checking Golden Meleni.  Small And Speedy and Dr. Mortisha collided approaching the first turn checking Dr. Mortisha.  Dr. Rahoual checked off Dr. Mortisha on the first turn.  Dr. Rahoual raced wide in the home straight.
