Rumour turned in the boxes and tailed off as a result.  Tron Bradman, Free Throw, Limburg Boyker, Fayette and Good Wick were slow to begin.  Fayette and Good Wick collided soon after the start.  Free Throw and Limburg Boyker collided approaching the first turn.  Free Throw, Limburg Boyker and Good Wick collided approaching the first turn.  Fayette and Fade Away collided approaching the second turn.  Free Throw and Fade Away collided on the third turn.  Kibibi checked off Fayette on the third turn checking Good Wick.

Rumour was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Dulcet Sound was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left triangle.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Tronald Trump was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Matilda Taylor was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Loch Roman was quick to begin.  Jenkins Bale was slow to begin.  Deadly Vane, Cette Away, Jenkins Bale and Galahad collided approaching the first turn checking Jenkins Bale and Cette Away.  Jenkins Bale and Cette Away collided on the first turn and again in the back straight.  Cette Away checked off Galahad on the third turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr M Carter, the trainer of Electric Star regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Electric Star last raced on 14th April, 2015. Mr Carter stated that the greyhound has been recovering from a metatarsal injury during this time.

Hashtag Redbacks trialled over the 525 metre distance from box 8, weight 32.2kgs.  The greyhound was placed 2nd, in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 31.20.  The greyhound was beaten by a margin of 7 lengths.  Hashtag Redbacks was cleared.
